Dr. Matthew Sisk
Dr. Matthew Sisk grew up in Georgia. He earned a BS in Animal Science, a Master’s Degree in Monogastric Nutrition, and a DVM all from the University of Georgia. He worked in Atlanta and Northern Georgia before moving to Roanoke in 2006. He joined Brambleton Veterinary Hospital shortly thereafter. Dr. Sisk also wrote a veterinary column for The Northeast Georgian newspaper. He has a special interest in behavioral medicine and gerontology.
Dr. Erika Henson
Dr. Erika Henson grew up in West Virginia and received a BS in Biology at Wofford College. She graduated from University of Georgia with a DVM in 2003. She worked in Atlanta before moving to Roanoke and joined Brambleton Veterinary Hospital in 2004. She is our resident crazy cat lady, but she enjoys seeing both canine and feline patients.
Dr. Sisk and Dr. Henson purchased the hospital in July of 2020. They are excited to continue the hospital’s tradition of providing high-quality, affordable veterinary care to the Roanoke Valley.
